"The Future of Energy" plus Q & A with Filmmakers 10/21

350Marin is sponsoring this special screening with the filmmakers, put on by Dominican University during their Climate Educational Initiative. Especially if you have not already seen it, this is a rare opportunity you do not want to miss.

The Future of Energy is a new documentary that paints a hopeful picture about the renewable energy revolution and what everyday people can do to be part of the solution to climate change. The film focuses on the work being done in the US, particularly in the SF Bay Area, on renewable energy and how we can get to 100% renewables faster than people think.

The film features interviews with scientists, physicians, community activists, economists, writers and business leaders including: Jeremy Rifkin, Joanna Macy, Bill McKibben, Dr. Jill Stein, and Danny Kennedy of Sungevity.

"100% renewable energy is not a dream. The technology is there. The money is there. We only need the belief and the political will to create this inspiring reality. That’s why The Future of Energy is such an important film." - Jurriaan Kamp, co-founder and editor-in-chief The Intelligent Optimist

The Future of Energy is about communities getting reconnected to themselves and the land, about a new way of seeing our place on the planet.

This event is free.  This is a great chance to hear from these local student filmmakers who have put together a very professional documentary.  You will be with like-minded people in your community, hear about and even have a chance to get involved in creating the solutions that we can make right now that can make a difference.
